Building a professional LinkedIn profile

Recruiters and hiring managers check LinkedIn before they check anything else. A thin or outdated profile undersells a strong candidate every time.

Write a headline that says more than your job title

"Pharmacist" tells people your qualification. "Community pharmacist focused on chronic disease management and patient education" tells them what you're actually good at.

Use the About section to tell a short story

Three to four sentences: where you started, what you've focused on, and what you're looking for next. Write it like you're talking to a person, not submitting a form.

Stay visible

Commenting thoughtfully on posts from people in the field you're interested in does more for your visibility than posting yourself. Consistency matters more than frequency.
