Common CV mistakes that cost pharmacists interviews

Most CVs that don't get a callback aren't missing qualifications — they're undermined by a handful of avoidable mistakes. Here are the ones we see most often.

Burying the lead

If your most impressive credential is on page two, most reviewers won't get there. Put your strongest, most relevant line in the first third of the page.

Listing duties instead of outcomes

"Dispensed prescriptions and counselled patients" describes a job description, not your performance in it. Say what changed because you were there.

Inconsistent formatting

Mismatched fonts, uneven spacing, and inconsistent date formats read as carelessness — even when the content is strong. A clean, consistent layout is doing real work for you.
