Cover letter templates for pharmacy roles
A cover letter isn't a repeat of your CV — it's where you explain why this role, why now, and why you. The strongest ones read like a short, confident conversation, not a formal essay.
The clinical-role template
Open with a specific patient-facing achievement, connect it directly to the responsibilities in the job posting, and close with a clear statement of availability. Keep it to three short paragraphs.
The industry-role template
Lead with a project or process you improved, quantify the result, and explain what draws you to that specific company's work — not pharmacy in general.
The research-role template
Name the research area, cite one relevant piece of coursework or fieldwork, and be explicit about the skills you'd bring to their existing team.
